If something on the blog left you with a question, or you’re working on a project and think I could help, I’d like to hear from you. I don’t have a contact form or a support team — just an email address and a real interest in talking with people who care about architectural visualization.
The most direct way to reach me is:
Email: [email protected]
I read every message and aim to reply within two to three business days. If you haven’t heard back after that, a gentle follow-up is welcome — sometimes things slip through the cracks during busy project weeks.
Other places you can find me
I’m not on every platform, but I do share work-in-progress shots, short thoughts, and the occasional behind-the-scenes look on these accounts:
- Instagram – @wark3d (project snippets and process shots)
- LinkedIn – Alex Mercer (professional updates and longer articles)
- Twitter / X – @alexmercer3d (industry links and quick observations)
Before you write
A few things that help me give you a better answer:
- If you’re asking about a specific blog post, mention the title or topic. I write a fair amount, and that context saves us both time.
- If you’re interested in commissioning work, include a short description of the project, the type of visuals you need, and your timeline. I’ll let you know honestly whether I’m available or can point you toward someone who is.
- If you just want to share your own work or say hello, that’s genuinely welcome. Some of the best conversations I’ve had started that way.
Who I am
I’m Alex Mercer, the person behind Wark3D. I started out as a 3D generalist years ago, but architectural visualization gradually became the center of my work and my thinking. Today I use this site to explore what makes a render feel real, share techniques I rely on, and document the projects that teach me something new. You can read more about my background on the About page.
Thanks for taking the time to visit.
